About Me
Hello world, my name is Alberto. I’m a 3D artist and game developer who focuses on creating immersive experiences and narrative-driven composition. I’m a Chicago native, I grew up playing Super Mario World on the SNES throughout my early childhood, and have since then been pursuing my passion for creating unique experiences in games. I began studying game development early on through a game design program in high school, and I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Game Design from DePaul University in December 2020. In total, I studied game design through collaborative team projects for 7 years before beginning my professional career.
When I began creating games at 15, I never expected that I would have the opportunity at that age to begin learning collaborative game design concepts. Being raised in a Latino community, the idea of studying something like game design in college was an unrealistic option. Getting accepted for DePaul’s Game Design Scholarship for their game design program allowed me to fully discover my passion for creating games. I will always be grateful for the opportunity that I have been given. I’m excited to meet new people while continuing to learn and grow with the game development community.
Apart from creating environments, I am passionate about concerts, motorsports, creating meaningful connections with others, and spending time in nature.
The games I am currently playing on PC and Xbox Ally are Battlefield 6, Marvels Rivals, and Fortnite.
